Strength - Spirit - Passion

Our Vision

Cheerleaders are some of the hardest workers that you'll ever come across. They throw themselves in their sport and live and breathe cheerleading. At EverydayImCheerleading, we want to showcase that dedication. To show how cheerleaders are much more than just glitter eye makeup and big bows. Cheerleaders are often underestimated and given a lack of respect from athletes of other sports, and we want to help that change. Not only do we want to show the hard core work that goes into cheerleading, we also want to give cheerleaders a new favorite website. A place with everything they love. Photos of cheerleaders across the globe, a blog from a cheerleader's perspective, (to which they could probably relate) stretching and technique tip videos, a reality show of a level 5 team, cheerleader and gym interviews, and more! We want to give you exactly what you've been asking for.

Thought Of The Week

I don't believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be.

A Cheerleaders' Perspective

Tumbling comes easy to some people, while others have to work and work and work to get a certain skill. Something I'm sure many of us have had to deal with is a mental block. When you're so close to getting a skill but you're mind just tells you that you can't do it. That you'll get hurt. That you aren't ready. It's such a frustrating thing to deal with. Although these methods may not work for everyone, let me tell you how I was able to conquer my mental block.

I've had a mental block for a little over a year. I would set for a skill, but just totally blank out on what to do. This block stayed with me through multiple coaches that I took private lessons with. Finally, a little over a month ago, I started to get over it. The first thing I did was watch a video on YouTube, "Debbie Love- Mental Blocks." Then I went to her website, fortheloveoftumbling.com and read her Breaking Free article, which includes instructions on a process that may help you get over a mental block. I followed most parts of the process, and started to feel less scared of tumbling. This part I think really helps me; every night before a private lesson, I pray about the lesson, asking for God to be there with me and help me through it. Now, I'm no longer freezing up when going to throw a skill, and hopefully you can find similar results. xoxo stasia
